In February, I had the opportunity to go to Italy and spend my 34th birthday at the Vatican. I had attended several Catholic masses through January, and I could feel God pulling me to integration of all the new stuff I was learning about him and how it built off of my Catholic upbringing.
For several weeks, I immersed myself in Italian culture, hitting seven cities (Rome, Vatican City, Naples, Pompeii, Venice, Verona, Florence) and learning that tarot originated from Christian teachings.
I came back with a better understanding of Christian teachings and their place in my new understanding of God.
